UPDATE 25/03/2020: Re the Postponement of the National Skeet Carnival.
The ACTA wishes to inform all members that at this point of time we are endeavouring to conduct the National Skeet Carnival from the 1st - 7th November 2020.

Due to the uncertain times in front of us due to the Covid-19 virus this decision will be readdressed in July before a definite decision is made, the health of our members and their families is our top priority.
Mal Dyson – ACTA National President

It is with Regret that the ACTA Executive wish to advise that the National DTL Carnival will be Postponed until further notice.

"*UPDATE 19/03/2020: Following on from the postponement of the DTL Nationals earlier this week, it is with further regret that the ACTA Executive wish to advise that the National Skeet Carnival has met with the same fate. With the ever changing and ongoing spread of the Coronavirus the Executive felt it was wise to make this decision now rather than later. We are in consultation with the ASSA regarding a date later in the year to run this important event. The Executive sincerely apologize for the disruption this will cause but member safety must come first.*"

This has been a difficult decision made after the announcement from the Prime Minister concerning the spread of the Corona Virus and also advice from the Wagga Wagga City Council that they did not want the Event to proceed. The Executive sincerely apologize for the disruption this will cause but member safety must come first.

With the unfortunate postponement of the DTL Nationals the ACTA President Mal Dyson along with the National Executive would like to acknowledge the following.

Thank you to Garry Read (for posting on Facebook) & Martin Smith (who had access to emails from pre-squadding) in assisting Mal with getting the required information out to our members as soon as the decision from Wagga Wagga City Council was known to the ACTA.

We now ask for all members who have pre-nomed to be patient, all nominations will be refunded. This is going to be an extremely time consuming task so we ask that you do not email or phone the national office regarding your refund. An email will be sent on Monday regarding the time frame that this will take.

Again thanks for your consideration & patience at this difficult time.

Mal Dyson
ACTA National President
