The Australian Clay Target Association presents the

2022 NATIONAL SKEET CHAMPIONSHIPS TO BE HELD AT THE NATIONAL SHOOTING GROUNDS TASMAN RD WAGGA WAGGA

Date to be confirmed, 2022 - National Events to commence at 8.30am daily.

Overall to receive a silver Australia Badge and a royal blue sash. Placings overall - graded AA, A, B, C. 1st, 2nd & 3rd only.

The 2022 Skeet Hall of Fame Dinner is to be held on TBC at the ACTA National Ground Function Centre, Lot 72 Tasman Rd, Wagga Wagga NSW..
Time: 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Please RSVP by TBC 2022.

ACTA/ASSA Junior Initiative Program
A joint venture to promote Junior participation in Skeet shooting in Australia.
Prize: 1st - $1000     2nd - $500
Eligibility
: Under the age of 18 years at the start of the Skeet Nationals and an ACTA member.
Criteria: Any 100 target score from any State or Territory 12g title of any State carnival. Submit as many State 12g scores as you like and use the best one. Plus the combined scores of the National - Handicap, 20g, Commonwealth and 12g events. Eg: 100 + 350 = 450 targets, best two scores win.
Commencement starts June 1st 2021 until the completion of the 2022 Skeet Nationals. (5 year trial)

EVENT 1: 7TH NATIONAL 28G SKEET CHAMPIONSHIP OF 100 TARGETS
Overall to receive a Silver Australia Badge and a Royal Blue Sash. Placings Overall - Graded AA,A,B,C, 1st, 2nd & 3rd 

MONDAY MAY 16

EVENT 2: 7TH NATIONAL 410 BORE SKEET CHAMPIONSHIP OF 100 TARGETS
Overall to receive a Silver Australia Badge and a Royal Blue Sash. Placings Overall - Graded AA,A,B,C, 1st, 2nd & 3rd

 

TUESDAY MAY 17

STATE SHOULDER TO SHOULDER TEAMS MATCHES
Commencing 8.30am followed by the Official Opening Ceremony

EVENT 3: 22ND NATIONAL SKEET HANDICAP OF 50 TARGETS
The Overall Winner shall receive the Col Burt Memorial Perpetual Trophy, a Silver Australia Badge and a Royal Blue Sash. Placings 1st to 5th

WEDNESDAY MAY 18

EVENT 4: 23RD NATIONAL 20G SKEET CHAMPIONSHIP OF 100 TARGETS
The Overall Winner shall receive the John Withers Memorial Perpetual Trophy, a Silver Australia Badge and a Royal Blue Sash

THURSDAY MAY 19

EVENT 5: 2022 COMMONWEALTH SKEET CHAMPIONSHIP OF 100 TARGETS
The Overall Winner shall receive the Adrian Hayes Memorial Perpetual Trophy, a Commonwealth Badge and a Royal Blue Sash

 

FRIDAY MAY 20

EVENT 6: 52ND NATIONAL 12G SKEET CHAMPIONSHIP OF 100 TARGETS
The Overall Winner shall receive the A&E Pederson Memorial Perpetual Trophy, a Silver Australia Badge and a Royal Blue Sash
Shoot offs for Champion of Champions if required

Australia and New Zealand Skeet Postal Challenge (team is selected on events 3 & 5)

SATURDAY MAY 21

EVENT 7: 35th NATIONAL SKEET DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP OF 100 TARGETS
The Overall Winner shall receive the Paul Johnston Perpetual Trophy, a Silver Australia Badge and a Royal Blue Sash

EVENT 8: 15th NATIONAL SKEET CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS
Shot 25tgt-28g, 410 Bore, 20g, 12g
The Overall Winner shall receive the Casella Wines Perpetual Trophy.
To be eligible, shooter must enter events 1, 2, 4 & 6 (28g, 410 Bore, 20g, 12g) events and score is last box (25tgt) score of 4 guns.

HIGH GUNS on Events 3 to 7.
OVERALL; GRADED AA,A,B,C; WOMENS; JUNIOR; SUB JUNIOR & VETERANS
Additional awards include: FITASC Five Person Club Team Event, Two Person Team Event, Two Women Team Event, Mixed Pairs Team Event, All Australian Skeet Team.
Glenn Trophy Team Selected every year. World Skeet Team selected even years.
